All right, twenty-eight hours awake is probably enough.
Normally I wouldn’t have a problem with staying up, but unfortunately, I’m going to be getting up ~early~ tomorrow (like, functional person early. Like 8ish), to move back home to San Marcos. I’d be pissed, but I’m excited to go home.
Based on how energetic my bestie, her fiancée and I are feeling once I get there, I’ll probably just wire in once I get settled.
Hiccup's relationship with his father is almost exactly like my relationship with mine.
is considered weird/different
wants to make him proud
is intimidated by him
can’t be like him no matter how hard he tries
gets frustrated with trying to communicate with him and often stops/doesn’t try
has a temper
loves his son and tries not to pressure him
does anyway (mostly unintentionally)
doesn’t understand him 90% of the time no matter how hard he tries
doesn’t really listen. Ever.
Seriously, guys, the resemblance is uncanny. I only hope one day I can make some sort of grand impact on the world with whatever knowledge I develop that my father refuses to hear until it’s almost too late.
I love my middle name because it makes my name so *~IRISH~*
My dad picked it because my mom got to pick my first name. (Noah Andrew, had he lived, was dad’s first name choice and mom’s middle name choice) mom agreed with it because she loved the song Alyson by Elvis Costello, but hated that spelling, so she picked that one, instead.
