Favourite scary movie: "The Exocist". Fo sho.
Best thing you ever dressed up as: Cruella de Ville. I was 6 or something.
Favourite candy: CHOCOLATE. OF ANY KIND.
Least favourite candy: Candy corn. Seriously, the fuck is up with that shit?
Do you believe in ghosts? Not especially, but I'd love to be proven wrong about that.
Do you still trick or treat? I wish, but people tend to look down on a 19-year-old woman showing up on their doorstep alone and asking for candy...
Funny story about The Exorcist and my life: My mother saw it in theatres as a kid and FREAKED THE FUCK OUT and would not allow any part of it in her house ever. So, first night of college life, what do I do? Everyone’s at Rush parties and all that bullshit, but no, fuck that game, I’m rentin’ The Exorcist and watchin’ it all by my lonesome. FREAKED ME THE FUCK OUT IN THE BEST POSSIBLE WAY. I fell in love instantly, and now cry “MAAARRIIIIIIN” in the dark hallways of my parents’ house whenever I go to visit. Because my mom’s scream is blood-curdling fun.
OH MY GOD, I BET YOU WERE SO FUCKING CUTE. DO YOU HAVE PICTURES? I WANT TO SEE. 83 PLEEEEEASE?
Because chocolate is the only thing that can really be called candy.
…Except candy corn. We can no longer be friends. OR NO, WAIT. LET’S BE BEST FRIENDS FOREVER AND YOU GIVE ME ALL YOUR CANDY CORN ALWAYS. 833
-waves arms- I HAVE STORIES. I DO. THEY ARE CRAZY.
XDD Aw, not in the smaller college towns they don’t. XD Not in Austin, either, but then again, their slogan is to keep weird, so.
Favorite scary movie: I don't like scary movies. I used to get scared by 'em, and I saw the first hour of the new Texas Chainsaw Massacre last night and just went THIS IS SO RETARDED LOL the entire time, so... I'unno. Does Shaun of the Dead count?
Best thing you ever dressed up as: In fourth grade, I dressed up as Harry Potter in quidditch robes. This year, I was gonna dress up as fem!Scoot...
Favorite candy: YES.
Least favorite candy: Anything with coconut, peanuts, almonds, the like.
Do you believe in ghosts?: Yes I do.
Do you still trick or treat?: I would if I were more comfortable in this town and had someone to go with me but I'm not and I don't. ;~;
That’s the POINT of scary movies, Cate. XD That’s why they’re called SCARY MOVIES. But yes, Shaun of the Dead counts, because it is amazing and it has zombies, so whatever.
XDD I DRESSED UP AS SIRIUS BLACK ONCE. I looked AWESOME, beeteedubs. AWESOME.
Pfft, bitch, you are a waste of candy. Coconut and almonds are the fuckin’ bomb. (Fuck peanuts, though. Those bitches be all up in my shit. Unless it’s Snickers. I like Snickers.)
DAMN STRAIGHT YOU DO.
I’m sorry, dear. :c I would go with you if you lived near here. :3
• Pet cemetery
• I was a can-can dancer one year
• I love chocolate covered gummy bears
• Milky way …
• I guess anything is possible
• Not so much
Pet Semetary (you keep misspellin’ it, for lovin’ it so much. It’s one of those ~purposefully misspelled for dramatic effect~ things) freaks me the fuck out for a myriad of reasons. But at the same time I like it. Is that weird?
HOT. Are you gonna wear a costume when you come over, or did it not work out?
THOSE ARE DELICIOUS.
I WILL EAT ALL YOUR MILKY WAYS, THEN. I WILL TRADE YOU FOR OTHER STUFF SO THAT IT IS FAIR.
OKAY, SO I HAD THIS DREAM WHERE MY PARENTS WERE DIVORCED, AND MY DAD WAS MARRIED TO THIS ABSOLUTE BITCH WHO TREATED ME LIKE SHIT AND I HAD THREE OR SO HALF-SIBLINGS THAT WERE LIKE "LOLZ, YOU'RE A SLUT" AND I WAS LIKE "I AIN'T BOVVERED" AND THEN I WENT TO HANG OUT WITH MY MOM, AND I WAS LIKE, "GOD, MOM, WHY DID YOU TWO SPLIT UP, ANYWAY." AND I WOKE UP. APPARENTLY, NOT EVEN MY ULTRA!CREATIVE SUBCONSCIOUS CAN THINK OF A REASON WHY MY PARENTS WOULD SPLIT UP.
Fall. So many wonderful things about Fall…the leaves are all beautiful, the Texas weather has usually reached a tolerable level, October is included (along with all it’s wonderful tidings, such as today, my favourite holiday of all, and my birthday~), and there’s just something so beautiful about this season. I actually like going outside during the Fall. In the daytime.
Sometimes I think people don't notice how beautiful or meaningful things are because of the context in which they are found.
Take for example, the How to Train Your Dragon soundtrack. Well, the movie as a whole, really, but this soundtrack - especially the score Forbidden Friendship. I cannot even put into words how beautiful I find this music.
And I think that happens often, you know? Some of the most beautiful music I find is in cartoon movie or video game soundtracks.
